For the safety of the responsible counterculture and bound by our eleven-year legacy, we give our word: § WE UNITE: Creating space to belong, sharing the burden and dancing as one. Zero profit. § WE OBEY: Our gatherings are private and invite-only. No tickets. § WE PROTECT: Admission is earned by trust. We choose our own. § WE LOCK: We encrypt and store data ourselves. Privacy is a human right. § WE SEAL: Any mention of future events is forbidden. § WE HEAL: We take care of each other. We carry our own. A Sanctuary is built on our unbroken word. The Legacy
Hard Underground Oulu was established in 2015 to carry on the heritage of freeform hardcore, the anthem of melancholic depth, soaring melodies, and relentless speed. Over the years, our gatherings have offered dancing grounds for inner reflection, shared catharsis, and euphoric release – and most importantly, forged a connection to the music, each other, and ourselves.
We celebrate a do-it-together, non-commercial philosophy, fostering a welcoming community where the invited are expected to contribute to the whole. As one of the most enduring underground rave collectives in Oulu, Finland, we raise the standard for mutual care. In a world where isolation prevails, we build a Sanctuary to let go and belong.
